My name is Anil Budthapa. I am a cybersecurity-focused IT student and practitioner based in Australia, building a research foundation in AI cybersecurity compliance, agentic AI governance, and Australian AI law and policy.
I am currently developing a public research portfolio to prepare for Master by Research opportunities in cybersecurity, AI governance, and digital policy. My work focuses on how AI systems, especially high-risk and agentic AI, should be governed, audited, secured, and regulated.
My technical background includes cybersecurity, Linux, networking, web security, Python, security tools, Governance, Risk and Compliance interests, and research writing and source analysis.
My current goal is to build a supervisor-ready research profile within two months by producing a research proposal, reading log, annotated bibliography, public writing samples, and a clear research roadmap.
